Mission & Vision

The AMCP student chapter at the University of Minnesota is an organization that offers basic managed care pharmacy education to all student pharmacists within the College of Pharmacy and provides additional incentives and services that increase the value of membership for AMCP student pharmacist members.

The AMCP student chapter at the University of Minnesota encourages members to become actively engaged within the organization, the managed care pharmacy community, and the pharmacy profession. Student pharmacist members will seek out additional knowledge and enrichment opportunities and the coursework offered through the College of Pharmacy to become versed in all areas of healthcare and pharmacy practice. AMCP student pharmacist members will be encouraged to utilize creative measures and sound judgment to challenge the "status quo" and make positive changes within the pharmacy profession and the community they serve.
